Hello

And welcome. My first instinct was to title this opening post “Welcome to my World”, but I quickly realised that this is in fact your World, and I am just a voyeur.

I am currently writing my first novel, “Mr. Mañana”. It’s the story of a procrastinator. Although far from finished, I am hoping that this blog will serve as a place for it to begin its leaching into the Public Domain. It will provide news, updates, rants and perhaps a funny or two. Everyone love’s a funny.

From one procrastinator to another….I heard the best advice a few weeks ago.

Totally obvious of course. And something we all know. But sometimes hearing it aloud, and from such a source, causes it to sink in a little deeper.

John Grisham, when asked on a U.S. morning show what advice he would give to aspiring writers said:

“Write a page a day. You’ll never get published if you don’t write a page a day.”

Love or leave his ‘literature’, the man’s doing what he loves. What we love.

Now, to write that page…
